Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for March for Babies at Esther Short Park! The weather was amazing and the community came together to give HOPE, to REMEMBER, and to CELEBRATE our smallest Clark County members! On behalf of the families we serve, we are extremely grateful for your support. Fundraising continues through JUNE 30th, so if you haven't quite hit your team's goal or your personal goal, there is still time! Your online page remains open until the deadline to accept donations. 2017 National Ambassador Ismael Torres Castrodad

Isamari Castrodad had a healthy pregnancy until she was hospitalized for a low level of amniotic fluid. Luckily she learned about premature birth from the March of Dimes and asked questions — because after she was anxious enough to get her fluid levels checked again, her son, Ismael, was born by emergency c-section 5 weeks early. Six days after discharge, he developed jaundice and RSV (a serious lung infection) and was treated in the hospital. He had to be rehospitalized with pneumonia and asthma, but today, Ismael is a charming, healthy 14-year-old from Puerto Rico who plays soccer and loves to sing. He and his family will travel around the country to raise awareness of premature birth and encourage moms to confidently ask questions about their health.
