To celebrate Charlie’s 1st birthday, we are walking in the March for Babies.
After I experienced Preterm Prelabor Rupture of Membranes (PPROM) at 20 weeks, I feared the worst. My miracle, Charlie, was born at 29 weeks and spent his first 3 months in the NICU — something no parent is ever truly prepared for. Those early days were filled with uncertainty, long nights, and learning to celebrate even the smallest milestones. Thanks to incredible medical care, support, and resilience, Charlie is thriving today — but our experience opened my eyes to what NICU families go through.
March of Dimes works to improve the health of moms and babies by funding research, advocating for better care, and supporting families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I’m walking to support those families, to honor how far Charlie has come, and to help give more babies the healthy start they deserve.
If you’re able, I would be so grateful for your support—whether that’s a donation or simply sharing this page. Every contribution helps make a difference.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
