Christopher Griess

Why I walk

I walk to honor my daughter, Isabella Marie Griess. She was born 3 months premature, weighing 1 pound, 6 ounces. I could literally hold her in one hand. Now she is eight years old, and has no lingering health issues. This would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the wonderful people at the March of Dimes, as well as the doctors and nurses responsible for her care. The March for Babies is an annual reminder of the kindness and generosity of these people, and a way for me to honor them.

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

Thank you for walking!
