Kaeli Dalton

Why I walk

Hi It's me Kaeli Dalton!! . I have taken the challenge to Be My Best to celebrate more than 75 years of March of Dimes! Look at what 1 pound 15 ounces and 14 weeks too early can become, a miracle! I was born at 26 weeks, and spent 73 days in the NICU. Prematurity is a big deal and I will have some life long struggles due to my birth. I have been a fighter since day 1 and I have overcome so much already. Today, I am happy and healthy! Loving 10th grade in the IB program, and baton twirling!!! It's my family's 16th walk and I want it to be a big success. Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely, like my brother and me. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise during the March For Babies support research that saves babies' lives. Please help me save babies like my twin brother. Let's end the battle against prematurity SOON! Love Kaeli Click here to support my walk.

PS THANK YOU! I was named the TOP YOUTH WALKER in 2007,2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013,2014 & 2015. In 2016, I was bumped up with the adults and I still raised the most funds of any individual. I could never do this without your support.

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
