Right now, babies need all the help they can get. Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies here in the United States. Many of you know, my own life has been affected by the birth of my son at 27 weeks. He is a survivor and a miracle. Unfortunately, there are many that don't survive. I walk for my own son, but I walk also, for those that don't survive prematurity. We need more research to help these babies survive and thrive. Already, many are living today that wouldn't have 10 years ago, but there is more to learn. I’m walking for these Babies and to get the message out about this terrible problem. You can help. I hope you are able to make a secure donation to help me reach my goal. Together, we can help the March of Dimes fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest start possible.
We honor my son, Jonathan James, with this walk.
We walk in memory of Jesse Amandus, who could only be with us for 13 days.
We walk in thanks for the Care received in the NICU of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and all of the hands that took part in helping us throughout our journey.
Thank You so much!
