After years of battling infertility, numerous treatments and 3 miscarriages, Soror Lucinda Marsh and husband, Brother Victor Marsh (PBS) were finally able to conceive. Their daughter, Deja was born 8.5 weeks early. She weighed only 3 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 16 and 3/4 inches in length. She spent 15 days in the hospital and was released when she reached 4 pounds.
Thanks to the strides made by the March of Dimes, Deja was within standard ranges for height and weight by her 6 month well-child check. Deja is now a beautiful and healthy 16 year old 11th grader. She is a long distance runner, has been a vital member of the Arundel High School Cross-country team and just recently earned a spot on the Arundel High School track team. She is also a wonderfully creative artist, and after graduation wants to major in Graphic Design at University of Maryland, University College in Adelphi, MD.
Deja is truly our little miracle.
