Our team stands with March of Dimes to fight for the health of all moms and babies. Families in our community and across the country are personally touched by our fundraising. PNC's own Chelsea Reed, Amanda Balzer, Jacob Randall, Mark Yagulli, and MANY others have shared their stories which has inspired PNC to join forces with the March of Dimes.
Chelsea Reed's story (featured in the cover photo):
Isabella was born at 33 weeks and 5 days, while Addyson was born at 32 weeks and 3 days. The ensuing post-partum period would be a combination of battling Mommy-guilt and discomfort (NICU recliners don't make the best beds) as I attempted to balance recovery and bonding. I will never forget the kind and encouraging words from nurses and hospital support staff urging me to trust them and get some rest. While my experience felt so personal and, at times, isolated, the CDC cites that 10% of babies in the US are born before 37 weeks. This tells me that I was never alone. Too many new mothers will know agony of being discharged from the hospital without a baby to bring home. Too many new mothers will know the pain of physically recovering from child birth while making numerous treks to and from the hospital during a time that should be focused on healing and bonding. So when you support March of Dimes you’re investing in the hope that 10% will be the highest premature birth rate the US has ever experienced. Simultaneously you're investing in the education and preparation of healthcare professionals who play such a vital role in those NICU journeys. You're investing in the idea that every family deserves a healthy start.
Together we can encourage more friends, family and supporters to join us to raise critical funds to tackle the biggest health threats facing moms and babies.?

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
