Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

ABOUT MARCH FOR BABIES
Celebrate Greater Hartford's 35th year of March for Babies on Sunday April 27th at Rentschler Field!
Make March for Babies your tradition and help celebrate the March of Dimes fight for stronger healthier babies. Maybe you participate in March for Babies to celebrate a healthy baby in your life. Or you may walk to honor a little fighter or remember a baby who didn’t survive. It could be your company gets involved and you’re walking with your co-workers. Whatever your reason, we’re glad you’re joining in. With every step you take, you’re helping babies begin healthy lives.
Participants will enjoy the walk event as well as music, food, activities for the kids and much more.

Meet Kaden Repoli
The March of Dimes will always hold a special place in the hearts of Jessica and Kevin Repoli. After Jessica went into labor with their son Kaden, she remembers the fear, anxiety and anger vividly. No one knew why, but her baby was coming far too soon. Kaden was born an astonishing 16 weeks early weighing just 1lb 6oz. and spent 124 days in NICUs at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Boston Children’s and UConn Health Center in Farmington.
Describing their NICU experience as “the most trying time” of their lives, the Repoli’s team – Kaden’s Crusaders- have made it their goal to share their story and raise funds and awareness for the March of Dimes. “My hopes are that someday no family has to go what we went through.”, said Jessica, “Kaden is doing amazing today, but not all families have that same outcome. Without the research done by the March of Dimes Kaden might not be here today.”
