Bryan and Joseph

Born early at 30 weeks in 2004, twins Bryan and Joseph were born weighing at 3 pounds 3 ounces and 3 pounds 6 ounces. Bryan and Joseph spent the next 54 day in a newborn intensive care unit (NICU). They had a lot of issues with apnea and keeping a steady heart rate. They were able to go home January 22nd which was 2 weeks before their due date. Both boys received surfactant therapy, developed in part with funding from the March of Dimes, to strengthen their lungs. Today, Bryan and Joseph are happy, healthy 10-year-old boys who enjoy sports, Lego's, reading and Minecraft. Bryan and Joseph are serving as the 2015 March for Babies Olean Ambassadors with their mom Sue.
