This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Meet Gibson

A little over a year ago, on January 10,2014 Gibson Gabriel was born at 1 pounds and 14 ounces. He entered the world almost 4 months early at only 25 weeks gestation. Gibson quickly showed us that he was a fighter after he beat a battle with NEC, losing 21 cm of his small intestine and conquering the odds of this deadly disease. Gibson spent in total 129 days in the NICU and during his first year of life he triumphed through 5 gut surgeries and 1 eye surgery. While he still requires oxygen and a feeding tube, he’s making great leaps of progress and has recently learned to crawl and is pulling up to stand all by himself. We couldn’t be more proud of our miracle baby and are so thankful to our network of family and friends who have been our crutch when times were tough. We give all thanks to God for Gibson and the blessing he has been to our lives, showing us that strength and hope can come in a tiny little package.
