Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Meet the Giving Family

We lost our first baby, Parker, at 20 weeks gestation and delivered him stillborn. We chose to hold him and take pictures--we felt complete and utter sadness. <p> About a year later, I became pregnant and developed an extremely rare condition, cholestasis of pregnancy, at 26 weeks. I had doctor visits three times a week, ultrasounds and non-stress tests throughout my pregnancy. Our daughter Jaelyn was born healthy on May 15, 2010. <p> I had a 70% chance of having cholestasis in later pregnancies, and it was diagnosed at 26 weeks with my daughter Adlee, who was born healthy at 37 weeks. <p> Losing Parker was so hard because I had no answers of what went wrong. Despite both of my daughters requiring close medical attention during pregnancy and inductions, they were born healthy. <p> I believe in the March of Dimes mission and want to help other families who have suffered a loss or pregnancy complications like I have. Thank you for joining us to March for Babies!
