We became aware of March of Dimes after our twins, Mason and Madison, were born at 27 weeks due to severe intrauterine growth restriction from placental insufficiency. Mason spent 116 days in the Nicu and Madison unfortunately passed away only two days after our babies were born. Throughout our stay, March of Dimes was there offering endless support and attempting to keep spirits high in an impossible time.
March of Dimes funds research on looking for some of the underlying causes of placental dysfunction in hopes that maybe one day what happened to our little ones doesn't have to happen to anyone else.
We look forward to participating in this years March for Babies with our loved ones.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
