Every baby deserves a healthy start in life. I will be walking in our biggest fundraising event at the March of Dimes to help our raise awareness of our mission. Moms and babies are facing an urgent health crisis and we need your help. It’s difficult to believe that the U.S. remains one of the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth. One in 10 babies will be born preterm, one woman will die every 12 hours from pregnancy-related causes, and birth defects will affect 1 in 33 babies born in the U.S. each year.
Your generosity is helping to address this crisis by funding research into what causes preterm birth and birth defects and how to prevent them. We’re helping moms learn how to care for themselves and their babies during pregnancy, to lower the risks for complications. We also advocate for policies that put moms and babies first.
