We walk because our story began earlier than we ever expected. Our daughter, Alexa, was born at just 32 weeks due to preeclampsia and spent 42 long days in the NICU. Those days were filled with fear, uncertainty, and hope, but also with incredible care and strength that carried us through.
Today, she is almost 11 years old and amazes us every single day with how smart, talented, and beautiful she is. She is our reminder of just how strong even the tiniest fighters can be.
This year marks our 7th March for Babies. Over the years, we’ve proudly participated in walks in Baltimore, Long Island, and Washington, DC, each one a meaningful way to give back and honor this journey.
We also walk for the baby we lost, and for the many families we love who have faced miscarriage, infertility, and the heartbreak that can come with the journey to parenthood.
We walk to honor where we’ve been, to support families going through it now, and to help create a future where every baby has the healthiest possible start.
