Nationally, preterm birth remains one of the leading causes of infant mortality. Every year our practice creates a “prematurity awareness” sweatshirt for our staff to wear proudly and remind ourselves about the work that we do to help ensure every family gets a healthy start. The staff designs the shirts and each year we are excited for the new design and the camaraderie we feel when we wear it. Over the past few years people have asked us where we got the shirts and if they are available to anyone. This got us thinking that maybe we could make the shirts available to anyone who was interested in wearing one and help out another great organization in the fight for preemies- the March of Dimes. So, this year the sweatshirt will be provided to anyone making a $10 donation to the March of Dimes. (Insert process). Together we stand in solidarity to make a difference! Love from the DCMFMCC Team
