MY STORY

I was beyond excited when I found out I was pregnant again. What was supposed to be an ordinary check-up changed my life forever. I found out I was expecting twins, which later turned out to be monozygotic twins. It was always a constant fear of not knowing what would happen, yet I prayed for a safe outcome. I had an emergency C-section at 30 weeks, weighing a little over two pounds. I gave birth to Marjorie and Nancy. It didn't stop there; they spent over 60 days in the NICU before they came home. I had an amazing team throughout my pregnancy, and now they'll be 4 in April. No family should have to go without, and that's why I support the March of Dimes and all they do.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
