Dear friends and family - 

I’m turning 40 next week  (I know, I can't believe it either)

I am really going all out this year with travel and celebrations, but I keep coming back to something I care about so much more.

As I hit this milestone, I’m feeling incredibly grateful, for two healthy pregnancies, two uncomplicated births, two healthy kids and the reality that my experience isn’t the norm for everyone.

Because the truth is, it’s not.

In the U.S., nearly 800 women die each year from pregnancy-related complications, and tens of thousands more face serious health challenges, most of which are preventable. These are moms, daughters, sisters, cousins and friends.

My goal this Spring is to raise $1000 for March of Dimes, an organization I know is doing amazing work to end all preventable infant and maternal death. 

I’m once again asking for your help but this time with a fun twist…
