Georgia supports March for Babies

I march in honor of my own preemie, baby August. His 45-day stay in the NICU gave me a personal understanding of the challenges families face when a baby is born too soon and needs critical care.

During that time, there were moments when we didn’t know if our son would make it. He faced multiple life-threatening complications, and there were times when his care team had to act quickly to save him. Hearing the alarms, watching the monitors, and waiting through those critical moments was something no parent is ever prepared for.

That is why I’m asking for your support to help other premature babies and their families. Your donations will help fund critical research, provide resources for families in the NICU, and advocate for policies that improve maternal and infant health outcomes. Every contribution—big or small—can make a meaningful difference in the lives of preemies and the people who love them.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Thank you for your support!
