Hi everyone!
I joined the movement to help bring more awareness to infant loss and help create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. This cause has always been important to me, but after becoming an Angel Dad to my Heart Warrior Princess, Ava Josephine, it will now have a more special place in my heart.
After being diagnosed with several complex congenital heart defects just hours after birth, our Ava fought hard for 6 days, and showed Mommy and Daddy just how strong she was each time she pulled through another procedure. Unfortunately, her heart wasn't strong enough to help her fully recover on her own. At one week old, we had to say our goodbyes, but we will always keep her memory alive in any and all ways we can.
Although March of Dimes March for Babies is dedicated to bringing awareness to infant losses, preterm birth and maternal death rates are also continuing to rise. I’m committed to continue raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start, but I need your help.
