My story includes miscarriages. While I have 4 very healthy adult children and 4 very healthy grandchildren, 2 of my children were born with blood type incompatibilities to me which led to very scary health issues in their first few months.
Sometimes, you question medical professionals' decisions and wonder if we looked different would they have done something differently. My story also includes a grandchild who was born in a manner that caused him to be born with health challenges that ultimately cost him his life.
I want my participation to change the outcomes for many moms and babies in the future.
