As a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I was taught that "love for all mankind" isn't just a motto we recite - it's a standard we walk…literally.
My chapter (Theta Nu Lambda - LaGrange, GA Alumni) is proud to sponsor March for Babies, and I'm asking you to join us in addressing one of the most urgent health crises facing our communities: maternal and infant health.
The reality we cannot ignore is that Black mothers and babies are disproportionately impacted by death and premature birth related to pregnancy complications. We cannot look at these as only statistics, these are our sisters, our partners and future legacies.
Alphas has always stood at the intersection of service and justice. From fighting for voting rights to building educational pipelines, we have never been an organization that stands on the sidelines. March for Babies gives us the chance to direct that same energy toward ensuring every family gets a healthy start.
Your donation doesn't just fund research. It funds equity. It supports programs that specifically reach underserved communities. It says to a young mother that her village sees her and we are walking beside her.
Every dollar gets us closer to a world where a baby's zip code and the color of their mother's skin don't determine their first breath.
Walk with me. Give what you can. Share this page.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
