This April, our family will be participating in DC's March for Babies under our family team dedicated to Elodie for the fourth year in a row. Elodie was born at only 24 weeks gestation, weighing only 1lb 7.5 oz. Our baby girl is only with us today thanks to decades of medical research dedicated to premature birth and maternal-fetal health (and an AMAZING NICU team). This research also allowed us to carry Elodie's little brother, Jude, to 37 weeks and we are so fortunate he joined our family in October 2024. The research that saved Elodie's life and allowed her to thrive now was funded and sponsored by March of Dimes. We've joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise (scarily so for a "developed" nation), we are committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start.
