This walk is very dear to my heart. As some of you know, all four of my boys were premature; Zachary at 33 wks; Kyle and William at 36 wks; and, Alexander at 35 wks. Zachary, William, and Alexander had to spend a minimum of 12 days in the NICU due to problems with their breathing, jaundice, and difficulty maintaining body temp and weight.
As someone who has benefited from March of Dimes, I can tell you they take care of their NICU families. From helpful information to holiday meals and much more!
Right now, babies need all the help they can get. Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies here in the United States. I’m walking in March for Babies to get the message out about this terrible problem and you can help. Please make a secure donation to help me reach my goal. Together we can help the March of Dimes fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest start possible.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
