As many of you know, with my first son, my water broke at 33 weeks. Dominic was born 6 weeks early and spent his first 10 days of life in the NICU. Even though his stay was short, the days were long and filled with so much unknown. We never thought we would have a preterm baby and had no idea what a NICU was. With my second pregnancy, I was carefully monitored due to my previous preterm birth and Laini was born full term and healthy! Last year we decided to grow our family by one more and little Jameson was born in 2021! This pregnancy was completely different first with COVID. My husband wasn't allowed to be present at any visit and we stayed isolated from our family and friends as much as possible. I also ended up having to see a high risk doctor bi-weekly due to complications with the placenta and the possiblity of stillbirth and hemoragging. We are blessed though as Jameson made it full term! Most recently, I have been following the research and recommendations of the March of Dimes closely when it came to receiving my COVID vaccination and continuing to breastfeed.
I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I'm committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we'll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
