How many of you were or know someone who was born prematurely? I know plenty, including my youngest niece Sahara,18, who was born 4 weeks early in 2005 at a little over 4 lbs. She is now a healthy, active young adult whom I love dearly. African-American women have some of the highest rates of premature births and we can help do something about it. My niece and the many other adults/children I know who were born prematurely are the REASON I support the March of Dimes. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. You never know when you will need an organization like the March of Dimes for your baby or one close to you. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
