I walk in the March of Dimes March for Babies because I’ve seen firsthand the importance of maternal and infant health. My mom has been a NICU nurse for as long as I can remember, and her compassion and dedication have shown me how critical early care is. Living in Kentucky, where maternal health outcomes are some of the worst in the country, I know that women’s healthcare has to be a priority. I walk to raise awareness, honor the work of caregivers like my mom, and fight for a future where all moms and babies get the care they deserve.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
