Hi, thanks for visiting my MFB page!  I have been working for March of Dimes for 2.5 years now, and so I'm so lucky to be working in a position where I can be an advocate, voice, and supporter for moms and babies, raising the valuable funds we need to create a world where every mom and baby is healthy.  While not yet a mom myself, I am inspired by all the moms and babies in my life, including those that have experienced loss like so many.   
Whether you realize it, or not, we have all been touched by March of Dimes.  Here are a few of my fav accomplishments: 

• Funded the development of the polio vaccine (we actually succeeded in meeting our mission, and pivoted from curing polio, to birth defects/prematurity!)
• Raised importance of folic acid - hey prenatal vitamins!
• MoD ensured all babies in the U.S. receive Newborn Screening
• Surfactant - a miracle therapy developed through MoD funded research to help preemie babies breathe easier

I was born 6 weeks premature, luckily with no NICU stay! Even today in 2025, 1 in 10 babies will be born prematurely, and sadly the United States is the most dangerous developed nation to give birth in… We must make a change!

With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
