<3 THIS IS MY 19TH YEAR <3
It's that time of year again when I'll be participating in March for Babies, in honor of Kyle Louis (pictured above). This photo of Kyle was taken on his 6th and final day of life. Kyle wasn't born prematurely, but he had birth defects that couldn't be detected during pregnancy. The March of Dimes raises funds to reduce the likelihood of such occurrences by supporting research, testing, and families that have nowhere else to turn.
I walk for Kyle and all babies because they deserve the healthiest and best start in life, and we can make a difference by increasing those odds. The children born today are the future of this world, and we all want to improve it. So, I urge you to count your blessings and recognize that some children and parents/grandparents/etc. haven't been afforded the same opportunities as you may have. I'm walking to help them, and you can help me by sponsoring my walk.
I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of this event and to be able to contribute to such a great cause. Let's beat last year's total! Please don't forget to write me a message to show your support. Thank you in advance for helping make the world a better place, one baby at a time!
EVERY BABY DESERVES A HEALTHY START!
XOXO,
DEBI :)
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
