Right now, birthing people & babies need all the help they can get. Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies here in the United States. I've heard from so many friends and family that have unknowingly been supported or positively impacted by the work of March of Dimes. Ranging from a heel prick to test newborns for different diseases (all babies have this test) to spending a week or two in the NICU to treat different illnesses at birth or to grow a couple of pounds before going home. Whether you realized you are affected or not, March of Dimes has made an impact in your life from even before you were born.
Birthing people are also facing some of the highest rates of health concerns and morbidity that are directly connected to pregnancy. More than 50% of these concerns are preventable. March of Dimes is working to bring awareness to these concerns and the preventable treatments and interventions that are available.
I’m walking in March for Babies to get the message out about how March of Dimes is tackling the rising premature birth rates and maternal health concerns and you can help. Please consider making a donation to not only help me reach my goal, but to make a difference for all birthing people and babies! Together we can make a difference!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
