“Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” sums up my relationship perfectly with being a NICU nurse.
The Renee Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital is my home away from home. We provide care for an estimated 1,600 premature or seriously ill newborns each year.
The USA has one of the highest maternal death rates in developed counties in the world. Preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise and I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start and to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
I am walking in the March for Babies Walk Chicago in April with Team Prentice. I march for my teeny tiny fighters & their strong moms and dads, and everyone along their fight. I march for my babies big and small in the NICU, my current patients & my future patients!
MOD is very near and dear to my heart. I’m excited & proud to be a part of MOD’s Nurse Advisory Council, March for Babies Affinity Leadership Group and be one of the Team Captains for Team Prentice!
Taking care of babies has been and will always be my passion. I’m lucky enough to have a job I’m so passionate about that it doesn’t feel like work. If you have the means to donate, this is an amazing cause!! 💜
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
