Many of you may already know our story but here is the cliff note version…
I had my boys, Brysen and Brayden at 24 weeks. Unfortunately we lost our son Brysen shortly after birth but he watches over his little brother through our long journey.
Brayden was in the NICU and continued his journey to the PICU for 554 days before we could bring him home. He is a trach and g-tube baby and is definitely a miracle that happened right before our eyes. Being in the NICU is hard and very lonely. Through the March of Dimes program though we were able to meet other families and make special bonds with them.
You will never truly know how much March of Dimes does unless you have experienced a difficult situation. March of Dimes supports research for premature babies and the healthcare of mothers'; they support families through their resources and programs in the hospital; and they are also constantly fighting for the care of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I didn't realize how important all these things were until we had our two boys. Now I fully support their mission and drive. Please help us so we can help them as they support past, present, and future families.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
