MY STORY

November of 2014 I experienced a mothers biggest fear, my little girl was born a little earlier than planned but far more sick than expected. Spending my days after delivery with her in the NICU, watching her with the tubes and cords, leaving without her… everyday, it was all something I never imagined could happen. Like most moms, I blamed myself, my body failed her. But after connecting with the staff, I realized I was not alone, so many other mothers experience my feelings. After my journey started with her, I knew I was meant to help other parents as they go on their journey. my experience has led me to work in the NICU, meeting some of the most incredible parents that I get to help support. But also, some of the most amazing babies that defy so many odds! Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. My very own, Avalynn, was one of those. I’m walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
