Why I march

At the gestational age of 25 weeks and 2 days, my son was born. 111 is the number of days spent in Edward Hospital NICU. I am participating on Team Edward NICU Strollers this year in the annual March of Dimes walk. An amazing team of nurses, therapists, technicians, doctors, practitioners, consultants, support personnel and fellow parents to children who had an unexpected, whirlwind arrival into the world, like my Logan. Forever grateful and blessed.

I also participate to help all moms and families experience the joy of a healthy baby. With nearly 4 million babies born each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please march with me or make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
