On November 15, 2023, my daughter Palmer was born at just 22 weeks, weighing only 18 ounces. She and her twin brother Britton were given little chance of survival, but they were both fighters from the very start.
Britton fought bravely for 9 days before passing away, and Palmer spent 140 days in the NICU, overcoming every obstacle thrown her way. On April 3, 2024, she came home—a healthy, happy, thriving little girl.
Palmer’s journey is a testament to the power of medical advancements, dedicated NICU teams, and most importantly, the resilience of these tiny warriors. Without access to specialized care, she wouldn’t be here today. That’s why I’m passionate about raising awareness and funds for premature babies through the March of Dimes. Every baby deserves a fighting chance, and with your support, we can help more families like mine.
Join us in honoring Palmer’s journey and fighting for the tiniest fighters who need us the most!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
