We were lucky. Our children were born full term and healthy. However, each year, nearly half a million babies are born premature. Born too soon and too small, they may have to fight for their lives. If they survive, they may have lifelong health problems. No one is working harder than the March of Dimes to find the causes of preterm labor and stop it from happening.
