I participate to help all moms and families experience the joy of a healthy baby. With nearly 4 million babies born each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country. My family and I have been directly impacted by March of Dimes and the funds raised to support the research that funds Cooling Therapy for babies with HIE. Without the help of MOD, families may not have the advantage to receive the therapy needed for newborns born with complications. With your help, we can continue to give newborns and mothers the care and treatment they need and deserve that may not be available without the necessary research that is provided with the help of this amazing program.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
