I’m walking for March of Dimes with a deeply personal purpose. My identical twin boys, Oliver and Cameron, were born on September 27, 2023—10 weeks early. My due date was December 8, 2023, but complications from preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome led to their early arrival. It was the scariest time of my life.
Oliver and Cameron spent 8 weeks in the NICU at Prentice, where they received incredible care that gave them the best possible start. Meanwhile, I faced my own serious health challenges due to the complications of pregnancy. It was a journey I never expected, but it has made me so passionate about supporting March of Dimes and their mission to improve the health of moms and babies.
The work March of Dimes does is critical. They fund research, provide resources, and advocate for families like mine—families who face the uncertainty and fear of premature birth and maternal health complications.
I’m so grateful to have my two healthy boys today, and I’m committed to raising funds to help other families get the same chance. Please consider donating to my fundraising page. Together, we can make a difference for moms and babies everywhere.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
