I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. As our birthday's are approaching, I thought this would be the perfect way to teach Zoe the importance of giving back.
My daughter Zoe was born 3 months early, at 28 weeks, in April of 2020; the height of the Covid Pandemic. During our 3.5 months in the NICU, I quickly found support with the March Of Dimes, as they are deeply integrated at INOVA. Instantly, I found a place to educate myself, talk to other parents going through their own NICU story at the same time, vent, cry, be vulnerable and learn how to Best advocate for my daughter. I cannot imagine going through that without them! We are forever grateful and supportive of their cause.![]()
I ask for your support as I am looking to raise $2,000 for our March for Babies event on May 3rd to support future NICU babies and their families.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
