I'm walking to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. In the fall of 2023, while pregnant with my first child, I was hospitalized at 29 weeks with severe pre-eclampsia. In addition to my high blood pressure, my daughter was diagnosed with intrauterine growth restriction, and we knew a NICU stay was in our future.
Against the odds, I made it to 33 weeks before delivering via C-section; my daughter was born weighing 3 lbs., 4 oz. Luckily, she was tiny but feisty and just needed time to grow. After a 3.5-week NICU stay, she was home in time for Christmas and continues to thrive.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. Donate now to be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
