Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Iโm walking in March for Babies as part of team BWH Strollers with Hadleyโs NICU nurses and other NICU families.ย
Hadley was born at 34 weeks due to preeclampsia. She spent 49 days in the BWH NICU and came home with an NG tube. She has seen multiple specialists and has overcome so much medically in her short little life so far. Seeing her in the NICU everyday and leaving the hospital without her was heart wrenching. Itโs a feeling you canโt even describe and no one truly gets it unless they are in your shoes.ย
I knew there was a possibility of me delivering preterm and have known family and friends that have also gone through it. I just never thought it was actually going to happen to me until it did. If you can please help me make and difference by making a donation. No amount is too small.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, weโre marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
