I'm walking in March for Babies because I would like to support research to help prevent this...And I need your help. Please support my walk, **any amount is helpful**. In fact, the March of Dimes name originates by its Founder, Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt, through a radio campaign asking everyone to contribute a dime to fight Polio. After his death in 1945, FDR's portrait was put on the dime. The fight against Polio was won, and since 1958, M of D has taken on a new, equally important mission.
