As the mother of two sets of preemie twins, I walk out of support for every other family who has shared this journey. I walk for the heart aching feeling of not being able to bring your baby home after delivery and the tears each mother sheds. I walk out of support of the scary thoughts that cross your mind as you watch your "helpless" tiny miracle covered by tubes, lights, and closed in an incubator. I walk out of the love and care every NICU doctor and nurse has as they care for preemie babies each day. Out of gratefulness of the nurses who answer the phone to provide you an update ot parents on their babies no matter what time of the day or night it may be. As a member of Sigma Gamma Rho , I ask you to help us raise fund for prematurity awareness. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are the hallmark of the organization's programs and activities. Sigma Gamma Rho addresses concerns that impact society educationally, civically, and economically.
