Preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to be at unacceptable levels, so I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. I've been fundraising for the March of Dimes for many years as a "Mission Dad" of a micro-preemie who is now a healthy 18-year-old getting ready to head off to college! The day Julia was born at 1 lb 6oz., it was hard to conceive of the miracles that could help her overcome the massive challenge she faced, but with medical advances and an amazing support network, miracles happened. The March of Dimes works tirelessly every day to help create similar miraculous outcomes for all families impacted by prematurity.
