My first born son, Cristian, was born 18 years ago, weighing 2 pounds 8 ounces. He lived at Texas Children's Hospital for about 3 months and I was lucky enough to have my baby boy come home with no medical problems at all! He is now a very smart, caring and amazing young man about to graduate from High School! My second born son, Cole, was born 12 years ago at 38 weeks, but had to spend several days in the NICU due to being jaundice. And last but not least, my youngest son, Carter, was born 4 years ago via emergency C-Section at 34 weeks and ended up staying in the NICU for about 1 week. Fun fact is that all 3 of my children were all delivered at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. If it wasn't for March of Dimes and all of the donations that have been raised over the years as well as the amazing doctors and nurses, my big-little man, Cristian, may not have made it or may not have been so lucky to get the medical attention he received. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
