I thank God everyday for experiencing the birth of my godson, Jaylen. He was born 3 months early and was only 1-lb, 8-ozs & 12 inches long. He endured several health challenges at an early age, but has overcome most of them. He is a true fighter and a walking testimony - he will turn “18” on April 7th and be GRADUATING high school this year… with ALL A's!!! :-)
Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March of Dimes support research that saves babies' lives.
