Ngozi Supports March for Babies

I joined this movement over 20 years ago to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.

At around 20 weeks into my pregnancy with my twins, my husband and I found out that I would have to be on bedrest until they were born. My doctor informed me that I needed an emergency cerclage and to the hospital I went. I did my best to rest and stay positive.

January 13, 2010, Nathan Miles (2lbs 13 oz) and Nala Michelle (2lbs 7oz) made their debut appearance at 28 weeks. Thankfully, they were not sick and did not require any surgeries. They stayed in the NICU for almost 2 months to grow and prepare for home.

Today, they are amazing 14 year olds with amazing personalities, awesome talent, and full of love and compassion.

With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to continue raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help. Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation.

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
