We are walking in honor of our twins, Grace who was stillborn at 24 weeks and Elijah who was born at 26 weeks, 6 days on New Year's Day 2015, weighing 2.5 lbs. Elijah remained in the NICU for 65 days under the close care of a variety of healthcare professionals at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital. Today, Elijah is an active 10 year old who loves to play outdoors and swim. We are extremely blessed and it is our desire to give back to an organization that is dedicated to helping pregnant women receive the resources necessary to have healthy, full term pregnancies and for premature and full term infants to have thriving lives from day one.
The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please march with me or make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
