In December 2023, there were no complications leading up to our son’s birth, so we were completely surprised when Ezra arrived at just 23 weeks.
This year, we joined the BayCare team to support the March of Dimes because we experienced firsthand the incredible work of neonatologists, NICU nurses, specialists, and surgeons. The care and dedication they showed made all the difference during the most challenging time of our lives.
Ezra spent 129 days in the NICU. There were many ups and downs, and countless setbacks, but through it all, we remained hopeful—and we are forever grateful for the care he received.
