Hi! I was born 4 months early at 25 weeks and weighed 2 lbs. When I was born I couldn't breathe on my own, had 2 heart defects, and spent 3 months in the NICU. The nurses said I was a fighter from the first night and my family gave me the nickname “Sadie the Strong." Now I am 10 years old and in 4th grade. I play lacrosse, basketball, and volleyball, and am a green belt in Tae Kwon Do. I've learned that medicine developed by funding from March of Dimes saved my life and I am so grateful. I want all babies to have a healthy start even if they are born too early. And I want to help fund research to end prematurity so nobody else has to go through what I went through. Come join me in helping March of Dimes and all the tiny fighters!!
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
