Heres a refresh of why I walk . Leilani was born at 24wks. She weighed 1lb 8oz at birth. While being in the hospital for a 3 month span she endured many test , some issues that resulted in her needing surgery.During that time there was a center (March of Dimes) that was very supportive with resources that allowed us to still feel like our life was semi normal. They held thanksgivings, Christmas, and Easter celebrations .They also have a resource center that was available.Needless to say they helped my rough journey be not so bad . I vowed that every year I am able to , I will give back in support with donations and my time. I've missed the walk only 2 times since 2012. one due to pandemic and one time Leilani team made it to the championship .. and won.
please join our team by donating or coming to walk with us .
I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
